FEST INSIDE A FEST--The next best local craft beer event will be Sunday’s Craft Beer Block located within this year’s 16th annual North Park Festival of Arts, 10 am to 6 pm (30th & University). A festival within a festival, the Craft Beer Block made its debut last year to the delight of all who attended.
Sunday attendees will see 25 breweries and five restaurants in prime time. Here’s a quick sip: Ballast Point, Sierra Nevada, Coronado Brewing Co., Green Flash Brewing Co.; Hess Brewing; Lightning; the Beer Company; Monkey Paw; Oggi’s and others. Food: The Range; Jersey Joe’s Pizzeria; Sea Rocket North Park; Carnitas Snack Shack and the Sicilian Thing Pizza.
Craft Beer Block tickets $30 in advance or $35 at the door.
With a ticket translates to 12 tasters of beer, plus a commemorative taster cup. Food is available for purchase. Must be 21 to enter. Purchase online @BIT.LY/CRAFTBEERBLOCK
New brewers Rough Draft and Latitude 33 will be serving along with Fezziwig’s Brewing (not open to the public, yet).
