MEDIA MATTERS?  WHO ARE THEY?
In covering and correcting conservative misinformation in the media, Media Matters, a national website, blog and archive, covers a diverse range of issues, from climate change to the NRA, from the economy to national security.  Many find it an alternative voice to arch conservative news empires.  Media Matters was founded in May, 2004 and is based in Washington DC.

NEW EDITOR
Janice Kleinschmidt is the new editor of San Diego Home/Garden Lifestyles magazine.   She arrives at the 34-year-old shelter publication from Palm Springs Life, where she was deputy editor.   Gregarious and a prolific writer as well, she will have no trouble moving the award-winning monthly forward.  Within a week she has already met socially the major domos at ASID (Robin Carrier), NKBA (Terry Smith) and new A.I.A./San Diego Chapter Executive Director/CEO (Bastiaan Bouma). Bastiaan (he’s of Dutch ancestry) was formerly the managing director of the Chicago Architecture Foundation, thus has a love of architecture and all good things related to design.
