NEED OLD PHOTOS OF MISSION HILLS

This is what Mission Hills volunteer historians are looking for

FOR NEW BOOK—Arcadia Publishing is in the research phase of a new book on Mission Hills. They’re looking for original historic and not so historic images of the early days of this historic San Diego neighborhood.  Anyone with early Mission Hills photos and stories are asked to attend a photo scanning party at Powers Plumbing, 1705 West Lewis Street on Saturday September 28 between 3 and 5 pm.  Light refreshments will be served.  For more information call 619-574-6247.   Check for old photos in the attic or down in the basement.   Call Aunt Bea or Uncle Fred.  Ask where grandma kept her old photos.
