ARCHIVED EVENT / MIDWEEK CRAFT BEER, SAUSAGES, PIZZA AND BREWLICIOUS CUP CAKES

 THURSDAY IS THE NEW FRIDAY--Yes, craft beer and beer fest appreciation have become so popular that midweek beer events are popping up such as the San Diego Museum of Man’s first ever beer tasting to be held “Thursday” September 19 from 6 to 8 pm in Balboa Park, 1350 El Prado.  Info and tickets: http://museumofman.org/tasting    Dollars raised goes to fund museum projects.

The scientists and beer lovers at San Diego’s White Labs will be on scene to discuss the role of yeast during the brewing process.  The public is invited to enjoy local craft brews and tasty food under the MOM’s famous big dome.  So far, AleSmith, Left Coast and Lucky Buddha are among the brew crews joining foodies La Bella Pizza Garden and Tarantino Gourmet Sausages.

Featured dessert will be chocolate stout cupcakes with Bailey’s Irish Cream frosting from Grove Pastry Shop.
