This post concludes a five-week series as San Diego interior designer Laura Birns reflected on the major design shows for 2015. This week we visit WestEdge Design Fair in Santa Monica CA.
WestEdge is a four-day event that offers the best in modern design, all in an environment designed to engage, entertain and inspire. The fair offers the opportunity to shop from premium home furnishings brands-many new to the West Coast and meet the designers behind thousands of inspiring products. In addition, attendees gain insight from leading names in the design industry with a full series of educational programs and special events.
WestEdge will reconvene November 3-6, 2016 at The Barker Hanger in Santa Monica.

Designed by Nick Sheridan, this 84-inch-high floor lamp is a plus-size version of Cerno’s table lamps of the same name. The light source is an energy- efficient LED, and the wooden components are available in oiled or dark stained walnut.
Sun Valley Bronze Pendant Pulley Light/below
This industrial-chic light consists of a hanging lamp counter-balanced by a steel weight and smoothly connected via pulleys. The hand-crafted pendant is available in raw or blackened finishes, with a bronze version launching next year.
