First and foremost the following is not an Obit!!  Instead, it is intended to be a clink of beer bottles for Peter Rowe, one of the last general assignment newspaper reporters in town, who retired recently near his 65^th birthday.  Popular for his sideline beat at the San Diego Union Tribune, Pete’s weekly column “Brewery Rowe” follows him into those upcoming golden cantina years.  A nice man and a talented writer, he will be missed.
