Sirkeci Railway Station. Istanbul’s magnificent station melds French Art Nouveau and Ottoman aesthetics. It served as the terminus for the famed Orient Express, which connected Paris’s Gare de l’Est to Turkey in an 80-hour journey, until the line stopped serving Istanbul in 1977. |
