What if we charged a $1 toll per vehicle per trip to cross into the USA. Hell, we pay $10 toll to cross the Golden Gate Bridge. Check the stats we publish below. One hundred million per year is not all the money in the world, but it would go a long way to help pay for the cost of maintaining our border. We are so curious to learn why this idea won't fly? Ask Congress. Sorry, no exemptions, either. Everyone pays.

In 2025, approximately 107.4 million road vehicles entered the United States through official land-border crossings: Personal vehicles: 94,385,166 Commercial trucks: 12,856,744 Buses: 147,868 Total: 107,389,778 inbound vehicle crossings That averages about 294,000 vehicles per day. These figures cover vehicles entering from Mexico and Canada. The federal government does not publish a comparable nationwide count for outbound vehicles, so an authoritative two-way total is unavailable.
