One of six* Starbucks Reserve locations in the world, Milan’s brilliant architectural wonder coffee house is in the Piazza Cordusio.
Think what you may about the global coffee chain, Starbucks has created a marvel in Milan. Designed by Luigi Broggi in 1901 to house the Milanese stock exchange, the Palazzo delle Poste building’s curvilinear façade includes two above entry allegory statues by Achille Alberti depicting commerce and labor. The building eventually became a central post office.
Opened in September 2018 the upscale roastery spans 25,000 sq. ft. and includes a theater of coffee roasting, brewing and mixology, plus Milan’s operation is the first to feature an Arriviamo Bar.
On Milan’s roastery’s mezzanine, up a sweeping staircase, is the chic Arriviamo Bar. Inspired by the tradition of the Italian aperitivo, early evening social cocktails paired with small bites, the bar features more than 100 cocktails with new creations and traditional favorites like the Negroni and the Aperol spritz.
