It is showing its age a bit, but that's because it's always filled with funseekers and families from all parts of the world. Rooms are available on the sand or in the vista tower. The bayside tower rooms give you excellent views of San Diego, including the daily summer night fireworks from nearby Sea World. Walk or bike over to the boardwalk that runs from South Mission Beach to South La Jolla, And, a new spa is the relaxation hub you'll come back over and over. As for cuisine there are better spots in the neighborhood and worst spots. The bayside cafe for lunch and breakfast and the view is hard to top. And, psst. there's on site parking. And parking rules in this beachside nirvana. |
