You go Nytorgsgatan Street in
Stockholm to feed your craving for quality candy. If it’s a chilly day on the island Sodermalm
neighborhood you stay inside Pärlans Konfektyr to sit on the sofa in the window
and sip coffee and listen to jazz. You
bring home enough candy to make it a week or so before you return for more. The cycle repeats.
Opened by Lisa Ericson in 2010, Pärlans
has become famous for its carmels and its vintage/retro décor. Today, there are Pärlans all over
Scandinavia. Each with its own story.
And, if the sofa is taken there’s
always the eclectic Café String next door.
