D-DAY REMEMBERED. Son (also son-in-law) and grandson of June
1944 landing participants recently visited Omaha Beach memorial in Normandy
France in honor of Silver Star recipient then tank commander Lt. Glenn William
Adkisson and infantryman Thomas Shess, Sr., United States Army.
