Voice of San
Diego, an independent viewer-supported daily news outlet is hitting the road to
nearby Chula Vista as part of a forum to discuss neighborhood issues. Called Brews + News, the event will be held
Wednesday, July 10 (5:30 to 7:30 pm) at the Chula Vista Brewery, 294 3rd
Avenue, Chula Vista CA 91910.
VOSD journalists Sara Libby,
Andrew Keatts and Scott Lewis will be on hand as the event will be recorded as
a later VOSD podcast. Attendees are
asked to be involved in the discussion.
VOSD should be lauded for its
long-lived grassroots campaign to host public forums in our neighborhoods keyed
on important issues.
The event is free to VOSD
members. Non-member tickets $15 each.
