Modapaloza is back for its tenth year. One day only: Sat. Sept. 9. The 2023 tour includes eight modernist houses around North Carolina with stops in Raleigh, Durham, Carrboro, Chapel Hill and Pittsboro. Tourgoers will be driven to all locations in a huge eco-friendly bus. Starting and end: 500 Park Office Drive, Durham, NC.
Architects and builders will be on hand to discuss the tour homes: Arielle Schechter, Erin Sterling Lewis, Ellen Cassilly, Sophie Plesse, Nick Hammer, and Abie Harris.
Tour perks includes coffee and bagels; a U.S. Modernist magazine (sponsor) tote bag filled with snacks; bottled water; a lunch and free wifi aboard the restroom-equipped, air conditioned (thank you) fleet of buses. Note: when ordering tickets, you will be asked which lunch you prefer: BBQ or salad plate.Tickets for the general public are $169 per person. Click Here.
