WALKING THE STREETS OF OLD NORTH PARK

GUIDED HISTORIC TOUR—This upcoming Saturday North Park Main Street is offering a tour of the historic commercial district of North Park, easily one of San Diego’s oldest suburbs.

Learn about the rich history of this dynamic neighborhood, enjoy light refreshments and meet current local business owners at Waypoint Public Restaurant, Pigment, City Tacos and Mike Hess Brewing Co.

Date: Saturday, November 15, 2014.  11 am.
This guided tour will visit some of the most historically significant parts of North Park.

This guided tour will visit the commercial core of historic North Park surrounding the corner of 30th Street and University Avenue. In addition to providing a brief description of homes, and commercial buildings which date back to 1912, the tour will visit several businesses in the area. These businesses include restaurants and shops offering convenience goods for those visiting or living in the surrounding neighborhood.
