As the firm’s managing partner, Mr. Garcia is a grad of Arizona State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in design. At ASU he also garnered a CAC/AIA Design Excellence Award.
A-Squared
Studios is headquartered on the Hillcrest side of Park Boulevard, a few blocks
north of Balboa Park.
The firm
focuses on architecture, graphic design and photography with clients in
Northern and Southern California and New York.
A current
example of an A-Squared residential project is the Daniels Residence in La
Jolla. This 4,100 s.f. remodel worked
within the constraints of the California Coastal Commission requirements to
transform the home into a more modern aesthetic. Sited on a bluff, the remodel allows all
rooms to have unobstructed view of the Pacific Ocean, while staying within the
mandated footprint.
