The new kid on the block as sales go is also the oldest brewer in America 

Checking below you’ll note the 50 top selling craft beer in the U.S. (based on 2014 sales stats) will show D.G. Yuengling and Son brewery of Pottsville PA is the sales leader.  How many of us knew that D.G. Yuengling (yee-ling) was the oldest operating brewery in the nation?  How many of us ever heard of D.G. Yuengling?  Craft beer aficionados recognize Yuengling, but ten buddies, who were not into who made suds didn’t have a clue.  One said it sounded like a Chinese beer.  But, Pottsville’s sixth generation owned brewery has an amazing loyalty to its brand, and of course, having great tasting beer goes a long way to racking up those amazing sales stats.  Thanks, Dave (since 1829)!
