COFFEE BEANS & BEINGS / FROM RUSSIA


Called Coffeemania, it’s the first link of a chain of Russian restaurants to open in the USA.  The Ruskies have done their home work.  It’s a coffee bar, restaurant with classy décor and trendy menu items priced (by NYC standards) fairly cheap.    

 You’ll find it between West 40 and 41 on Avenue of the Americas across from Bryant Park in midtown Manhattan.
         
Opened in December, Coffeemania brought in chef Titus Wang, the French trained Taiwanese culinary hotshot, who kitchened at Anissa and Morimoto restaurants to run this red star restaurant.
         
The reviews have been raves.
