COFFEE BEANS & BEINGS / SCIENCE ENDS BATTLE WITH 18th CENTURY WIVES WHO CLAIM COFFEE MADE THEIR HUSBANDS IMPOTENT.

PillartoPost staff points out it is hard to argue this 21st-century cup of coffee would make anyone impotent.  Image from the public domain.
Dr. Sanjay Gupta on CNN Health reports in a friendly tone that coffee these days is practically a health food.  Good science supports his claim as pointed out in the CNN video and accompanying article.

Flip flops abound.  History is confused as whether or not coffee is healthy to humans. For example, 17th-century women (some not all) protested drinking coffee made their men impotent.  But just as fast as the naysayers had their say world scientists developed more in-depth studies to show drinking 3 to 5 cups of black coffee a day is beneficial.   Adding creams/sugar/sweeteners to coffee ruins the science.  For CNN’s video with Dr. Grupa click here.
For maximum benefits from drinking coffee--keep it black--avoid sugars and sweetened creams.
