San
Diego’s popular ENTER THE BLUE SKY
band is performing its first driveway concert Wednesday, May 13, between 4 – 5 pm
at 7623 Flag Street in San Carlos (San Diego).
Neighborhood
attire is “mask casual,” do make it special. Let’s see what the best-dressed
quarantinites are flaunting when out and about. Feel free to bring chairs or
stand, or stay in your car, just be mindful of the six-foot rule and we are
set.
A
2019 San Diego Music Award nominee, Enter the Blue Sky is a collection of
dedicated instrumentalists in support of passionate storytelling at its best.
Profoundly reflective, their sound is a blend of poetry, and original and
unique melodies that make room for reminiscing and musing. Supported by warm
inflections and textures, the sincerity of the lyrics and the band’s delivery
is nuanced and powerful at the same time. ETBS is led by award-winning vocalist
and songwriter Sandé Lollis, an indomitable spark of energy, and backed by
Karen Childress-Evans on viola, Paul Tillery on upright bass, and Tina Dee on
backing vocals. ETBS
music is available digitally on Amazon, iTunes, and Spotify; search for Enter
the Blue Sky and voilà. But if you want the real deal in your hand, complete
with a book of lyrics and signed by the band, ETBS will have both Re-Entry and
Wanderlust available for purchase at $10 each. And as always, there will be
plenty of free collectible band pins.
