PARIS CIMETIERE--In the middle of Paris is the ancient Cimetiere de Montmartre located off of the Rue Caulaincourt in the 18th Arrondissement. Visited on a very somber cold morning in late March, 2013. Above, is the grave of Louise Weber, the dancer, who is credited with popularizing the famed can-can. The Moulin Rouge is not far away. Below, you'll see one of the many cats, who gave us a tour of the neighborhood.
Noted names buried here: Francois Truffaut, Alexandre Dumas, Stendhal, Hector Berlioz, Emile Zola, Edgar Degas, Vaslav Najinsky, Louise Weber and Adolphe Sax.
