Hollywood, TV and Broadway legend, Mel Brooks is 97 years old. He’s one of 18 entertainment industry icons who have achieved EGOT status by winning an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony. 

To complete is EGOT status it took nearly 35 years for him to achieve this, with his Emmy coming in 1967 and his Tony in 2001. 

His career achievements are so numerous we list one/won for each category. 

Oscar—Best Original Screenplay “The Producers” 1969. 

Emmy—Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series “Mad About You” 1997-98-99 

Grammy—Best Comedy Album, The 2000 Year Old Man in the Year 2000, 1999. 

Tony—Best Musical “The Producers” 2001.
