MEOWW--Recipe
for Max Shess’ Hendrick’s Dry Lemon Martini
Squeeze half a lemon in a
chilled shaker
Swirl vigorously;
Drain lemon juice.
Add four clear ice cubes;
Max does not like foggy ice cubes
Add four whiskers of dry
Martini & Rossi vermouth about ½ ounce
Then three ounces of
Hendrick’s gin
Shake into a Martini shaker
and strain neat into a chilled martini glass and add a thin lemon garnish.
You need to adjust the
contents so the liquid is right to the top of the glass (neat); he doesn’t like
to stick his nose too far beneath the rim of the glass.
It’s a science, n’est-ce
pas?
