| North Park's Lafayette Hotel is once again site of the City Beat Beer Fest this Saturday |
SALUDOS SATURDAY—North Park based City Beat Magazine is hosting a return performance of its
successful “City Beat Festival of Beers” this Saturday, April 19 at the
Lafayette Hotel, 2223 El Cajon Blvd. The
fest runs from 2 pm to 5:30 pm.
The weather couldn’t be
better for the outdoor fest and if you get caught up in a frenzy of craft beer
tasting—remember the sane thing to do is book a room at the Lafayette, one of
the cool hotels in town. And, next to
Muni pool along Morley Field, the hotel has one of the largest swimming pools
in the city. If it’s not too late book
one of the hotel’s remodeled bungalows (pack it with buddies) or a lanai suite
that opens out into the pool.
