annual Steinbeck Festival takes place May 2-4 in and around The National
Steinbeck Center in Salinas, CA. Top
item will be the three-day celebration of the 75th anniversary of John
Steinbeck’s classic novel: “The Grapes of Wrath.”
Events
range in cost from the big party ($78 per ticket) to Steinbeck ranch tours
($20). Other events on tap include
readings and speakers and the aforementioned big barn party.
