THE BREWSPAPER / YUSEFF CHERNEY ADDRESSES ORIGINS OF CRAFT BEER IN AMERICA

Yuseff Cherney (above) will lead a discussion of the origins of craft beer and spirits in America as part of the lecture series put on by the Culinary Historians of San Diego.

The free event will be held Saturday, March 16, 10:30 am to 12:30 pm at the Central Library, 330 Park Boulevard, downtown.

Cherney is one of the pioneers in the dramatic growth of the craft beer industry in San Diego.  He was formerly head brewer with Ballast Point Brewing and one of the founders of Cutwater Spirits.
