KIDS STUFF / COMPUTER BUILDING SO EASY AN ADULT CAN DO IT.

Raspberry Pi is a credit card-sized desktop ($35) computer that has won over millions of hobbyists. It just got a big upgrade: The first major new edition of Raspberry Pi since February 2016 launched last week, claiming faster speeds and support for more modern devices.
All of God’s children are smart, especially our youngest, who as a high school underclassman was building his own computers.  That was back in 2002.  He got so good at his “hobby” that the faculty made him the school’s official nerd.  He’d upgrade existing computers, fix them or build a new one for a long list of teachers.  To climb higher on his waiting list of customers, a few smart teachers bribed him by letting him “do” lunch off campus, a much guarded senior only privilege.

A recent do-it-yourself computer made the news.

Curious as to what our star computer builder, who has gone on to conquer the world of craft beer, thought of the new Raspberry Pi?

His answer. “Meh. No biggie, the average Kindergartner can build one.”

Some of us aren’t so jaded.  We delight in being able to work the TV remote.
