First and foremost the following is not an Obit!! Instead, it is intended to be a clink of beer bottles for Peter Rowe, one of the last
general assignment newspaper reporters in town, who retired recently near his 65th
birthday. Popular for his sideline beat
at the San Diego Union Tribune,
Pete’s weekly column “Brewery Rowe” follows him into those upcoming golden cantina years. A nice man and a talented writer, he will be
missed.
