GOOD NEWSPAPER / 70 CORONAVIRUS VACCINES IN RACE FOR ULTIMATE PANACEA

There are now 70 candidates vaccines in development, up from 44 on March 20, according to a World Health Organization centric article published by CNBC.com.

The report says China’s CanSino Biological, in partnership with Beijing Institute of Biotechnology, is in the lead, with only candidate vaccine in phase two trials.

In the U.S. Moderna and Inovio Pharmaceuticals are the only phase one developers testing vaccines on humans.
