Marketing is everything whether you’re selling coffee or cars or horse and buggy rides. Create a brand that the public will remember and most likely your business will succeed. 

Then there are those that just want to have fun. For example, Naked Espresso in Amsterdam is a wonderful coffee house, where no one is naked. It also helps to have a terrific location on a trolley stop. And serve Dam fine coffee.

Owners had to give a name to their establishment and Naked Coffee won because---well just because. 

Naked Espresso is on Dam Square and surrounded by historic buildings with amazing architecture and it's down the block from the Royal Palace. 

And as the sign says they serve coffee and cookies and more: Sometimes you just need the bare essentials [with a view].
