AMERICANA / 1 PIX = 1K WORDS

LIGHTNING & THUNDER IN SAN DIEGO

Neighborhood photographer captures in time lapse a rare (very) electrical storm in San Diego last week.  The city wasn't used to bolts hitting their palm trees and setting them aflame.

Locals can't remember such a big fireworks display in a sunny city that averages 12 inches of rain per year.

Not bad for an amateur photographer.
