It’s neck and neck to decide if the San Diego’s historic North Park neighborhood remains as a major craft beer destination in the west or has it become a coffee metropolis second to none? This week we salute a new domino on North Park’s coffee side.
Adding to the coffee is owner Justin Esselstrom’s recently opened Genteel Coffee at 2603 University (at Villa Terrace). Coffee bespokers will remember them from a previous incarnation in San Diego’s East Village. It’s not a big place, but it is chic and big enough to be an impressive nook for another great cup of coffee—North Park style.
Opens at 7 am.
Closes mid-afternoon.
