--Night Owls in South Park.  Join the free community walkabout 6 to 10 pm.

--Beer Fest near ComicCon.  Heroes Brew Craft Beer Festival, a buy-a-ticket craft beer tasting venue is set for 1 pm to 5 pm at Embarcadero Park North.  Come dressed as your favorite action figure. The Heroes fest is raising dollars for the Surfrider Foundation and San Diego Coast Keeper.

--Gelato vs. Ice Cream.   While you’re walkingabout in South Park learn the difference between gelato and ice cream with a taste test of your own.
