For SDBW, Old Harbor Distilling Co. is
joining forces with Soda & Swine Liberty Station and 32 North Brewing Co.
to create two collaborative libations: a cocktail, The Station Scuttlebut (a
Dutch Head Butt variation, which is an old Dutch shot-and-a-beer ritual). The
beer from 32 North is “Liberty Soda Sour Saison” and is dry hopped with Old
Harbor San Miguel juniper berries and will be served in a cask shaped pint
glass. Leading up to the collaboration, there will be a scavenger hunt of sorts
around Liberty Station with hidden Dane Danner-designed t-shirts located on the
grounds. The coordinates of the t-shirts will be posted on social media and up
for grabs to whoever can find them. $10 from every keg will be donated to Pangea
Seed, an international non-profit organization
that collaborates through artistic and creative mediums with members of
the contemporary art and environmental communities to raise public awareness
and education regarding the conservation and preservation of oceans, sharks and
other marine species in peril.
