“QUOTE, UNQUOTE.”
"I had a great time listening to my constituents this afternoon [Saturday, May 18] at the North Park Festival of the Arts. Congratulations to North Park Main Street and our small businesses on another successful event that highlights why this is such an exciting neighborhood."

"Success may not come quickly or easily. But if you strive to do what’s right, if you work harder and dream bigger, if you set an example in your own lives and do your part to help meet the challenges of our time, then I’m confident that, together, we will continue the never-ending task of perfecting our union."

“Sometimes it takes dining
alone in another city and watching families and friends go about their own
lives to realize what you have, what were all about . I'm thankful for being
able to the time to be in New York and watching the city as I attempt to absorb
and be a part of it. Life is about interactions with others and our
surroundings and to enjoy the moment, as tomorrow is another day.”
