First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt |
EDVENTURE IN TIME—Time cannot really stand still, but regular readers understand, this
blog often blurs the continuum. For
example, we suggest you participate in an edventure into the past, which will actually
occur in the future, June 3, 2013 when we urge you to spend an afternoon with
former First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt and famed 1930s investigative reporter
Lorena Hickok.
Brimming with questions, Ms. Hickok will interview Mrs.
Roosevelt and shed light into the First Lady’s life, family and the White
House, plus her later work with the United Nations.
The creative class takes form as a play.
This interview will take place 10 to 11:50 am at the
Extended Studies Center, San Diego State Campus. The staged interview is a mini-course for
June offered by SDSU’s College of Extended Studies/Osher Lifelong Learning
Institute.
Eleanor is portrayed by
Annette Hubbell and Lorena by Elaine Litton.
Instructor is Playwright Sherrie Colbourn.
For fees contact 619-594-5152.
Last day to secure a seat is May 24, 2013
