PART ONE: MIKE HESS’ NORTH PARK BEER TREK
Photos show a slice of what
makes the historic North Park neighborhood so craft beer centric. Mike Hess Brewing (south of University on
Grim Avenue) just made its first delivery of canned beer to Bottlecraft Beer
Shop (30th & University), a trek of about 200 yards, reports
West Coaster, San Diego’s local craft beer magazine and website.
The delivery of the first Hess beer to be canned takes a short cut along the alley between Grim Avenue and Ray Street. Note: Can of Hess in Greg's hand. Half a block later no can in Greg's hand. |
Trek ends. Rumors have it the hike was celebrated with a taste of the new Hess beer in cans, but that was not confirmed. |
