JUNE 21—Well into
its second decade the annual Old House Fair offers 70 exhibitors, vendors, art,
dance, kids stuff surrounding the theme of celebrating the vintage homes surrounding
Balboa Park. Lots going on but we focus
only on the public tours:
• Old House Fair
Historic Homes Tour, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. ($25), docent-led tours of five
historic homes in South Park. Addresses,
map and tickets available at Ticket Booth at 30th & Beech St. See Tours & Tickets page for more info.
(Free shuttle also available along the route.)
• Trolley Tour of
South Park and neighboring Golden Hill, 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 2:30
p.m., 3:30 p.m. (30 min., $5 adults, kids free). Tickets at Ticket Booth. Board
at 30th & Cedar.
• Urban Safaris
South Park neighborhood walking tour, 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. (one hour, free).
