Each year for decades Pirelli, best known for
making tires, creates a provocative wall calendar featuring some of the world’s
most interesting women. In recent years,
the models have gone from superstar models au jour to actresses and other women
who are equally captivating. Each year
Pirelli chooses a world class photographer to capture its calendar images. For 2017 Peter Lindberg was chosen for the
second time.
Appearing in the 2017 edition
are world known cinema actresses:
Charlotte Rampling, Uma Thurman,
Nicole Kidman, Lupita Nyong’o, Alicia Vikander, Léa Seydoux, Kate Winslet,
Julianne Moore, Robin Wright, Rooney Mara, Jessica Chastain, Penelope Cruz,
Helen Mirren, Zhang Ziyi, and special guest Anastasia Ignatova (a Soviet scientist).
