The bar of
soap, pictured, is one woman’s voice in support of the Oslo Architecture
Triennale [OAT] ongoing thru November 24, 2019 in the Norway capital.
Researcher
Yujia Bian cast the word architecture into bars of soap. The bars are in place now in the event’s
various venues, where attendees of the Triennale wash their hands.
Yujia Bian, left, understands the theme of this years event (every three years) is “Degrowth.”
She
reasoned we should all try to encourage architects now and in the future to
wash away old thinking and make the built world more responsive to planet’s
true environmental needs.
