DON’T ASK, DO TELL—GUEST BLOG—By Phyllis Shess, Pillar to Post—Recently I picked up my I-Pad.  The screen was a mess: colors scrambled and image distorted. 

What to do?

Put it in the freezer for a couple of hours.  No good...still a mess.   Realized I am one of millions of I-Pad users so hit the internet for a solution.  Large discussion thread on this problem. 

Pound it on the back they advised.  Instead I dropped it flat on its back onto the carpet from about 4 feet up.

SMACK! 

Pick it up. 

Result: Good as new.

Who says I am technically incompetent?
