Best looking of the seven-unit Better Buzz coffee emporiums.  This Hillcrest location was once an upscale antique store.

This 25 coffee house collection compiled by San Diego Eater’s Phaedra Cook and Mario A. Cortez is well presented by geographic neighborhood.  But because it is skewed to covering as much of San Diego County’s westside as possible, a few quality coffee houses get omitted like Caffe Calabria in North Park and Hawthorns in Normal Heights.

All in all, it is a very good list and offers many coffee venues that are off the beaten track that often get omitted in other coffee compendiums, Por Favor in Barrio Logan is an example.
