New
Mexico artist Roberta Leavelle Widner is an oil painter who prefers to express
her talent in subject matter from abroad, mainly France and Italy, where she
has taken extended workshops, rendering her artwork in the old masters'
style. A selection of her paintings
paintings are on exhibit and for sale at the Mesilla Valley Fine Arts Art
Gallery, Mesilla, New Mexico.
Mesilla
Valley Art Gallery, 2470A Calle de Guadalupe, is a cooperative gallery
including artists from Southern New Mexico and West Texas. It has been in business for more than 20
years, making us one of the longest continuously operating co-op galleries in
New Mexico.

The
gallery offers a wide selection of works in all media: oil, acrylic, watercolor
and pastel paintings; as well as photography and graphic processes, glass,
jewelry, gourd art, textile art, art tile and woodworking. The gallery
specializes in original artwork in a Southwestern style, and represents a wide
range of other styles, too.
The
Gallery is located near the historic Mesilla Plaza in the Fountain Building,
across from the Fountain Theatre in Mesilla, New Mexico.
Hours
are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
