LET’S HEAR IT FOR EAST PARK
30th & JUNIPER THRIVING—This intersection is the dividing line on City of San Diego maps between the midcity communities of North and South Park. This intersection has its own personality as a dining and shopping center. Within a block you’ll find wonderful dining establishments, creative shops, bookstores, coffee houses, and world famous Stone Brewing recently opened a retail outlet down the block.
For years, the surrounding neighborhoods have long battled to incorporate 30th & Juniper into their ‘hood.
It really isn’t North or South Park. Reason is it couldn’t be more east of Balboa Park if it tried.
Time to call it East Park. Or, perhaps more historic by calling it the downtown of Burlingame.
