This collection of snapshots--while in Cuba--was taken on the run. Our tour group kept a brisk pace led by our intrepid Gate 1 Travel Guides, Norkis (last names optional in Cuba) and Daniel Guzman. Finding a second to frame and focus a photo was catch as catch can. And, of course that's always part of the fun.

What used to be an American owned sugar plantation in the late 19th century is now an internationally acclaimed botanical garden near Cienfuegos. Nice in the shade. Tropical sun on this day pushed the temperature above100F. |
