TRINIDAD CUBA: ONE SATURDAY IN
APRIL
Trinidad
is one of the best-preserved Spanish colonial era towns in the Caribbean. In 2014, this temperate town of 74,000
celebrated its 500th birthday. It is located within the province of
Sancti Spíritus, central Cuba. Together with the nearby Valle de los Ingenios,
it has been one of UNESCOs World Heritage sites since 1988.
